What is CASA?

The Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA) is an alliance of nineteen strong and representative student associations and student unions from across Canada. Through this network of College and University student governments, CASA represents and defends the interests of nearly 300,000 post-secondary education students to federal and inter-provincial levels of government. With its head office located minutes from Parliament Hill in Ottawa, CASA has developed an unparalleled rapport and profile with decision-makers and policy-makers within the ranks of the federal Government, Canada's Opposition parties, and the post-secondary education policy realm.

It is the mission of the Alliance to ensure that students are full participants in defining the future of post-secondary education in Canada.
