The University of Lethbridge Students’ Union is looking for a full-time Communications Coordinator. This position requires a minimum of 35 hours per week. However, occasional weekend and evening hours are required.
Reporting directly to the Students’ Union General Manager, the areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
- Development, support, coordination, and participation in all Students’ Union marketing, promotion, public relations, strategies and initiatives.
The Communications Coordinator works in close cooperation with the Executive Council, all Students’ Union administration, pub and food court staff.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter, team player and be flexible to work in a student-driven environment. Strong communication skills and creativity are essential as well as a post-secondary education in Journalism, Public Relations or Communications. Proficiency with Adobe Indesign and Photoshop is required.
